How to comment

You don’t need to register to comment. Only to post an article.

If you are commenting on events please make sure your e-mail address is relevant because that is how we will send tickets to you. We will contact you and get your address. We do not want you putting your addresses or home phone numbers on this site for your protection.

However,

You will need to register to be able to post events, information or share how things are going for you or ask for feedback which we encourage. This is a support site after all. The articles that Julie posts are for education of what is going on around you. She would really like for others to contribute on other single parent issues. Please help your brothers and sisters through posts. We all have something to offer that is different and we all need information that is different.

How to register

Look to the right hand side of this page. Look to the third star down. See, the registration and log in heading. Click register.

1. You need to type a user name which can be your own name or a name of your choosing. Please be aware that this site is case sensitive. That means if you use a capital letter you have to remember that you used a capital letter. Most usernames are like e-mail address names. They are in lowercase.
2. You need to write your e-mail address as well.
3. An e-mail will be sent to you with your password.
4. Once you receive your password, come back to this site and click “login” at the righthand side of the page under the third star also. It will not work straight away because the admin has to approve it, so please keep checking in and be patient as admins have jobs and children to care for also.
5. Once you are logged in you can write you own article.

How to post/write an article

1. Think of something you would like to post. It could be an event from a movie night to a pot-luck dinner, information you think others might be interested in or something about you from sharing to asking for feedback.
2. Log-in on this site under the third star and heading registration and log in. You will then come to the dashboard page where you will see options under the logo. (there is a little house to the left of all the options) These options have drop down scrolls so you need to place you mouse onto the heading that best suits you.
3. Put your mouse over ‘write’ and then once the scroll drops click on ‘Write Post’
4. Write your title in Title and the details in post content.
5. Click Publish. You can use save and save and continue editing if you want to come back to your post at a later time. If you want to change anything you can always come back after you posted and manage your post. Click Manage and then Posts in the drop down scroll. You only have permission to manage your own posts.
