Some may be wondering why I am posting articles that are against the Women’s movement. Well, I’ll tell you. It is because we are all going to lose our children and grandchildren to the state. I kid you not. The ‘No Smacking Bill’ opened my eyes quite a lot and then listening to the men’s side of the story, well that just blew my mind.

From now on, I am not taking one side of any argument as gospel. There are always 2 sides to a story.

But it is my duty as a woman to give my sisters the other side of the picture. You would never forgive me if I knew all this was going on and said nothing and you lost your children. Or you started to see the big picture yourself and you found out I knew. I would be pretty angry if a female friend of mine knew and said nothing.

The velvet underground-Labour’s quiet revolutionaries

It used to be said the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world. Now, people whose hands have never been near a cradle are deciding what’s best for children, and the country.

Former Minister of Customs, Margaret Shields says, “We began to reorganise the Women’s Section of the Party so that it became an agent for change; through organising, training and encouraging women to take a larger, more strategic role in politics”

She says things are not done by accident. Former MP John Tamihere who was stood down for language against the sisterhood agrees, saying that these people think in time frames of 10 to 15 years. They don’t have families so they plot because they have nothing better to do.

September is the month where women put forward lots of information and evenings promoting women’s rights. And of course they have lots of funding to play with and many groups to support them. And as single parents many of us are grateful for the work women have done so that we can get the DPB.

But what is women’s suffrage all about?

The term women’s suffrage refers to an economic and political reform movement aimed at extending suffrage — the right to vote — to women. The movement’s origins are usually traced to the United States in the 1820s. In the following century it spread throughout the European and European-colonised world, generally being adopted in places which had undergone latter colonisation than that in Europe and the eastern United States. Today women’s suffrage is considered an uncontroversial right, although a few countries, mainly in the Middle East, continue to deny many women the vote.

Ok, then. So how did a group of women that started in the 1820s affect the women’s right to vote? Here is the facts about voting rights.

Landless white men did not get the vote in the USA until 1856, Black men did not get the vote until 1870, and women in 1920 (in the USA - mid 1890’s in New Zealand). In fact, here in Canada, women who owned property could vote up until 1867, when Canada separated from Britain and became a Dominion - which means it should be safe to say that this was because of British law, and therefore all throughout the entire British Empire, which was substantial in the 1800’s, it is likely that women owning property all around the world had the same voting rights as men.

no ma’am

Just to let you know; men in NZ only got the vote 3 years earlier than the women. Now if suffrage week is about voting, then why are we only caring for women and not men? And why are we needing to make a big deal of this anyway?

“Many women’s groups established in the first half of the 20th century still exist today and continue to be strong advocates for women’s rights.Just three years after women were given the vote in 1896 the National Council of Women, with Kate Sheppard as president, was the first to set up. This organisation is still going strong today, influencing policy and keeping successive governments firmly to account.” says National’s Women’s Affairs spokeswoman, Dr Jackie Blue.

Putting aside the obvious that National wants the women’s votes because that is what has kept Labour going strong for 3 terms, why are the rest of us being so gullible? It is not as if we are going to gain power and money for using other peoples stupidity. I mean, we are the ones that have to live in the society that the Governments and other greedy people take advantage of.

This bit that National is saying bewilders me.

“Anyone who considers that women have reached equality and that these pioneering groups are redundant, should look at the grim statistics on violence against women and children and talk to the volunteers at women’s refuges.”

So National intends to give heaps of money also to the women’s groups. But nothing to the men’s groups. Nothing, nil, zilch for men that suffer from domestic violence and I just want to make it clear that when the media says that so many children die from domestic violence, most of the children are dying from the mothers hand and then there is the step father. But biological fathers are the least likely to kill their children let alone hurt them. You don’t get to hear these facts because everything is hush, hush, for money and power.

But on another note. Think about this. We all know what is going on out there. We know what men can be like and we know what women can be like. And if we are honest enough we can see that often in relationships both have had a part to play in an argument and such. And if you are unlucky like me you have seen females beating up guys in public places like it is nothing. But then we are all told that it is what is happening behind closed doors that is important as if we are gullible to believe everything is ‘out of sight’ Please give me a break. We are just getting fed exaggeration.

But I ask you. If we have women’s refuges for where the women can go, who lives are we really saving? Think about it. Most of the women in the refuges are dysfunctional themselves. Before you jump down my throat, remember I said most not all. They have anger problems and alcohol and drug problems. So really we are saving men’s lives by putting them in there.

Why don’t we just do the obvious. Have a number for men to phone when they are angry and a refuge for them to go instead of staying in a situation where they can lash out. Now that we have so much rights for children, it won’t be long and the kids can kick out mums for the night. Where are we to go? How are we going to react? You know children can divorce their parents also.

Anyhow don’t you think it would save lives of women if the men had a refuge? In fact don’t you think it would be easier and cheaper full stop to work on the men. Maybe teach males young at school about anger management. All we are doing today is trying to rescue women and to tell you the truth the women who are dying have usually had close encounters before. Think of it this way. A female puts an order on a male because she is afraid and the male is meant to obey a piece of paper from the judge that says, “You can’t go within 400 metres of your home, your female partner or your children.” Do we seriously believe that a man who is going to kill is going to obey that order?” No, way. So MAKE the women leave. Simple. Her life is in danger, give her a court order to stay safe. The refuges are saying they can’t get the women to leave and are forcing tougher laws on males. But it isn’t working. All it is doing is making tax payers money go to women’s groups and the Family Court instead of education and medical research and even hospital care. We all know how bad things are getting in these areas.

I am aware that my ideas will upset those who get paid wages and such to do things in the domestic violence industry but if we really want what’s best for society, we have to do the RIGHT things, not the wrong things. Wow, most of us out there caring for the community are doing it voluntarily. We don’t get paid. And we want real change.

Anyhow enough about that and back to the suffragettes.

Are you aware that they were part of the KKK? Yes, that’s right they came from the KU KLUX KLAN. The were a hate group. First the women turned on the black men and then they turned onto the white men.

Now if this is offending anyone particularly feminists, I don’t apologise. And I don’t consider there is 100 different kinds of feminism either. You are a feminist or you are not. But this will be interesting for you.

For feminists - an introduction to the men’s movement

According to Massey University’s pro vice-chancellor in education, James Chapman; New Zealand now has one of the largest gaps in the world between male and female achievers, with men coming out the losers.

Perhaps the drive to find equal opportunities for women had gone too far and there was a need to pull back a bit to restore that balance, he suggested.
