Step 1. Register online

Click link:
Membership online

• Enter name and e-mail address.
• A password will be returned to you via e-mail.
• A verification e-mail will also be sent to you. (single parents needs to approve registration to stop spam) This may take up 24 hours.

Once you have both of these you can login and change you password when filling in your personal details.

Step 2: Start attending events. Don’t be shy. Remember everyone feels a little nervous on the first outing.

FEES

There are no joining fees or subscription fees. Families pay for the events only.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AS A MEMBER OF SINGLE PARENTS

Once you are over the all important hurdle of becoming involved and meeting other members, these are some of the benefits.

The opportunity to meet other members of the community who are, just like you, lone parents and to be able to offer each other friendship, understanding and companionship.

The priviledge of being in an organisation that caters especially for the lone parent and is child- orientated.

You and your children may attend family activities which unite your family with others in similar circumstances. In this way your children come to realise that they are not really ‘unique’ or ‘different’.

You will receive a quarterly newsletter containing general information and a calendar of events offering the choice of activities for you and your children.
