The Mission Bay Jazz and Blues Streetfest offers great value for five hours of live music and entertainment to celebrate its 10th anniversary with more than 20 bands entertaining over 30,000 fans with great music and a festival atmosphere.
Continuous concerts on various stages located within the venue, including beach front and fountain stages, ensures a night of non-stop entertainment at what has become one of Auckland’s most popular waterfront locations.
Gates open at approximately 5.15 pm. There will be general parking facilities available at Takaparawhau Reserve (Bastion Point) with entry at Kupe Street – (Orakei) and Hapimana Street (off Tamaki Drive) (no parking on Hapimana Street) for a fee of $5.00. Security will be on site. Map

Public Transport Services on Tamaki Drive for this event will include the following:
- 1. NZ Bus Commercial Services: Britomart (Tyler Street) to Mission Bay
- 2. Special Event Bus Service: ASB Stadium/Selwyn College Shuttle Bus (Kohimarama Road) to Mission Bay
Extra bus services based on demand will run from Britomart (Tyler Street – D13) in the CBD to a special bus stop at Mission Bay. Outward services start at 5:00pm and will run every 15 minutes approx. Return services depart from outside Burger King, Mission Bay starting at 9:00pm. Standard fare stages will be charged.
Event Terms and Conditions
Entry $10 payable at gate (cash and eftpos only), Free entry for children five years and under. No alcohol permitted, licensed areas available and no pass outs.
What to bring….
Bathing costumes and towels if you want to swim.
Blanket to sit on.
A plate or 2 of food to share with others and refreshments.
Anything else that would make for a comfortable evening.
