The Farmer’s Santa Parade is the biggest event in the heart of the city of Auckland.
The Parade Route is 2.2kms long and takes approximately 50 minutes to pass any given point. The Parade ends at approximately 3.30pm with the After Party from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.
Single Parent’s gets a number of free tickets for a special area closed off from the public and free parking tickets right in the city. You must be parked before 12 noon as all roads are closed between 12 noon and 4pm.
Parking: Civic Car Park – Gray’s Avenue entrance. (see map here)
Also an area has been set aside to the side of the Queen’s Head Tavern, opposite the Town Hall, for you to watch the parade. We have white stickers you need to wear for entrance. Please being your own blankets and cushions as there is no seating. They have goodies, refreshments and entertainment for the children but you might want to take something just in case.(see map here)

Hi there, I would absolutely love to take my 2year old to the Santa Parade. I am a single mum and the last time I was at the parade was about 30 years ago. I appreciate any freebies out there. Thanks

Do you know roughly whereabouts the “special area” reserved for us will be located, as the last time I went (2yrs ago) I got completely lost !!!.

hi there i have made 2 city parades one in 2002 an one in 2006 an man wot a mission with my littles it was well this year i have another little one three kids an if you had some spare parking or special reserved area tickets we would be very greatful SINGLE MOTHER OF ZHARKOBI ZHARNAY DAEZHARN

Hi,seating for the Santa Parade would be awesome for my 5 yr old daughter & myself. I have a back injury & have never been able to take my daughter. She would think its Christmas & hopefully meet some other families. kind regards. Karen
